The nearest airport is Boston-Logan.
In addition to Uber / Lyft, there are decent public transport options around Cambridge. The easiest option to pay is by getting a CharlieTicket at a subway station. You can also pay in cash for buses.
Cambridge also has a popular bike rental system, Blue Bikes.

Here are recommended hotels in the area. For more affordable options with a commute, look along the red line or commuter rail, which take you to Harvard Square, a 15 minute walk from the CfA. Additionally, there are bus lines to the CfA from the cheaper areas of Belmont and Watertown.

Facility
Information on the Harvard Science Center Facility can be found here.
Food and Beverage
There is a large and efficient cafe on-site called Clover Food Lab, which is centrally located on the main floor at the hub of our meeting spaces. This is the best place to go for coffee and refreshments during breaks. It also serves very good vegetarian and vegan street food.
The plaza that connects the Science Center to Harvard Yard hosts a rotating cast of very good food trucks.
Some other closer-than-Harvard-Square options are described here.
Remote Participation
Zoom info will be shared over email prior to the meeting.
Parking
This is not a car-friendly location. We strongly recommend that you plan to commute from your hotel to the meeting by foot, by public transportation, or by taxi/rideshare.
Very limited vehicle parking is available at metered spots on Oxford Street. Visitor parking at the nearby Broadway or Oxford Street lots may be available by reservation in advance through Harvard Parking. The nearest public parking lots are in Harvard Square.
Accessibility
Science Center classrooms and lecture halls are wheelchair accessible. To obtain general information about accessibility services, contact Harvard University Disability Resources, 617-495-1859.
Internet
The eduroam network is widely available and should be seamless in the science center. The "Harvard University" network is also available for guest access. To use this network, select it from your network settings, point your browser to https://getonline.harvard.edu/, click "I am a guest" -> "Register for guest access", and follow the instructions.
